In the heart of the Balkan Peninsula lays the capital city of the republic of Macedonia, Skopje. A 2000 year old city has a timeless tradition built throughout the centuries, full of historical monuments, artistic and cultural spirit, recreational facilities, and warm hospitality from its citizens.

Of the many streets leading out the square, one leads south, and at the end you’ll notice the Old railroad Station with a stopped clock giving the time of 17:17. This railroad station symbolizes the strength of Skopje, surviving the catastrophical earthquake in 1963. Now, it’s the home of The Museum of Skopje.
Skopje stands proud as the birthplace of the worlds famous humanitarian Mother Teresa. A replica of her house is built on the Macedonia Street and people from all over the world come to visit this famous monument.
Go back a century back in time by walking the narrow streets of the Old Bazaar. Craftsmen possessing handcrafted skills that passed from generation to generation through out the years are still there to impress you with a traditional way of crafting. Another time traveling monuments are theSultan Murat’s-Hjunkar Mosque and the Daut Pasha’s bath which present a unique landmark of Islamic architecture around 500 years ago.
