Sanya is a city in southern Hainan province, China. This is the second largest city On Hainan Island. Sanya is renowned for its tropical climate and has emerged as a popular tourist destination. The main city and his long beach worth a walk, 20kms long, Sanya Bay is the longest beach in Sanya, the buildings stand in front of the sea and sometimes give you the feeling that you are somewhere in Florida.
Although it is a better choice to live here to taste the daily life of local people, I would suggest you to go directly to the best place in this island, Yalong Bay!
Yalong Bay has been developed into an international holiday center with multiple 5 star resorts, golf etc. The long beach is well taken care of by the various hotels. You will find many restaurants in the new shopping area. Definitely worth a visit, but be prepared for higher prices with respect to Sanya.
Yalong Bay's climate is tropical monsoon, and the annual average temperature is 28C.With the main attractions, Central Square, the Sea Shell Museum and the Butterfly Park; Yalong Bay has become a world-famous holiday resort.
It is the best beach area in Sanya with crystal-clear water, silvery sand beach and the finest facilities and ambience. This is definitely a luxury place but this is the price for a peaceful and quiet retreat on this island. Enjoy the long white sand beach, the swimming pools in front of the sea and the tropical gardens everywhere in each hotel. And here it comes the best part of Yalong Bay, it’s not only a legend but a reality! This place is the Chinese Hawaii! The landscapes with the hills in the background, the grass and palm trees right behind the white sand beach. Almost all the hotels propose a Hawaiian style dinner at night, you eat outside with candles, a local band is playing live music, really a great moment.
Tourists are from different nationalities, but almost are Chinese and Russian.
Yalong Bay has the five essential elements of modern tourism: sea, sands, sunshine, green plants and fresh air, so don’t forget to visit this place is you come to China!
